A reimagined art fair is coming to the State Street District in 2021 after all. Artists and merchants are excited to bring art back to the downtown district for a pared-down fair that runs Thursday, July 15 – Saturday, July 17. Meeting all the required safety protocol is paramount, says Frances Todoro-Hargreaves, director of the State Street Art Fair, when she makes the announcement to Creative Washtenaw's Deb Polich and WEMU's David Fair on "creative:impact."
Creative industries in Washtenaw County add hundreds of millions of dollars to the local economy. In the weeks and months to come, 89.1 WEMU's David Fair and co-host Deb Polich, the President and CEO of Creative Washtenaw, explore the myriad of contributors that make up the creative sector in Washtenaw County.
ABOUT FRANCES TODORO-HARGREAVES:
Frances Todoro-Hargreaves, a community leader, is the Executive Director of the State Street District in downtown Ann Arbor.
Before joining the State Street District, Frances worked with McKinley, where she was the development liaison for new and redevelopment projects in various communities, and in the Office of the Mayor John Hieftje, where she ran daily operations and served on various committees.
In addition to her current job, Frances is also the vice-chair of the Ann Arbor Independent Community Police Oversight Commission.
