This year's WEMU Fundraiser Finale features special guest Vinnie Curren.
Mr. Curren is Chief Operating Officer of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. The Finale takes place on December 9th from 5pm to 8pm at Eagle Crest Resort and Conference Center. Entertainment will be provided by the EMU Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Mark Pappas. There will be heavy hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and a cash bar.
A pledge of $200 or more gives you admission to the Finale. The pledge must be paid prior to December 9th or may be paid at the door. Tickets are not mailed to this event. Names are on a list at the door. Your $200 or more pledge gives you admission for two.
The Eagle Crest Resort and Conference Center is located at 1275 S. Huron St. in Ypsilanti (adjacent to the Ypsilanti Marriot). The party is in the conference center, not the hotel. You can reach Eagle Crest via I-94 at exit 183. The conference center is south of the expressway. The is ample free parking at the site. The facility is handicap accessible and smoke-free.
