Ypsilanti, MI – Washtenaw County's Board of Commissioners has extended the deadline for local governments to sign four-year contracts for police services from the Sheriff's department to the end of this month. However, leaders from several townships are asking commissioners to offer two-year contracts since details of years three and four have not been finalized.
