EMU Budget Challenges Ahead

Ypsilanti, MI – With state funding for public universities expected to be slashed by at least 15 percent, Eastern Michigan University has created an ad-hoc committee of three regents to work with the school's administration to create a budget for the next school year. EMU's Faculty Senate has already passed a resolution identifying areas where it thinks 11-million dollars in cuts and revenue increases can be found. Hear more from WEMU's Andrew Cluley.
