Washtenaw County has some of the best high schools in Michigan, according to U.S. News & World Report.
Ann Arbor Public Schools' Pioneer and Huron High Schools, along with Saline High School, made it into the organization's list of top 20 schools for 2014.
Liz Margolis is Director of Communications for Ann Arbor Public Schools.
"We are really honored that two of our high schools are on that list," Margolis says, "but we also know that schools like Skyline and Community are also exeptional schools. Being on the list is a great, wonderful thing, but it also doesn't tell the entire story."
Margolis says the community's commitment to education has been a major factor in the district's continued success.
