American Craft Beer Week is drawing to a close, but the opportunity to sample some Michigan-made brews will continue long after the week-long celebration ends.
Michigan Brewers Guild Executive Director Scott Graham says Michigan ranks fifth in the nation in number of breweries, and while the amount of beer sold in Michigan that's MADE in Michigan stands at under five percent, there's no reason that number couldn't top 20 percent in the future.
If you missed American Craft Beer Week, don't fret. July is Michigan Craft Beer Month, and Ypsi-Arbor Beer Week is August 1-9.
