The city of Ann Arbor has been forced to release numbers on how many deer have been killed as part of a cull to control their population.

Court documents show that sixteen deer were killed last week in Ann Arbor.  The information became public after the city responded to a lawsuit regarding the cull.

City council member SabraBriere from the first ward, who voted in favor of the cull, is glad to finally have a number after secrecy surrounded the issue.  She would like for more numbers to be made public as the cull continues.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of a resident who is trying to stop the cull.
