The Michigan Senate has voted to advance a set of election-related bills. Colin Jackson has more.
One of the bills prohibits voting equipment from being connected to the internet during polling hours. Critics say the move promotes conspiracy theories since Michigan voting machines are already not connected to the internet. Another bill deals with which locations can become polling sites. Republican state Senator Ruth Johnson is among the bills’ defenders.

That refers to training for both poll workers—and those who challenge an election.
