Throughout 2015, The Ark will present many special concerts to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. The first of these is this Sunday at the Power Center, featuring the husband and wife banjo duo of Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn.
We spoke with Bela Fleck about the give and take in their relationship, their different approaches to the banjo, what makes for good vocal contrast with the banjo, how many banjos will be on stage with them at the show, their collective appearances in Ann Arbor and their thoughts about The Ark and the Ann Arbor music fan.
