89.1 WEMU and Sesi Motors present the 5:01 First Friday Series dedicated to the memory of the late Dr. Jan Winkelman. Join us for a 5:01 celebration of music featuring the Glenn Tucker Trio + 1 at Rush Street in Ann Arbor on January 8th.
Pianist and organist Glenn Tucker celebrates the national release of his CD "Determination" on Detroit Music Factory Records. Detroit jazz legend, bassist Robert Hurst will join Glenn along with drummer Kayvon Gordon and veteran saxophonist George Benson. Glenn and friends will play two free sets from 5:01PM to 7PM. WEMU's 5:01 Jazz series is presented with support from Sesi Motors and is dedicated to the memory of jazz fan and WEMU supporter Dr. Jan Winkelman.
The show is at Rush Street, 314 S. Main Street in Ann Arbor, Friday January 8th, 5:01-7 p.m. Admission is free.
