Eastern Michigan University Finalizes Chapel Deal

Eastern Michigan University has finalized the purchase of the Holy Trinity Chapel on West Forest Avenue in Ypsilanti for $940,000.
 
The university plans to use the site as the new home for The Honors College.
 
That college has doubled in size since 2011 and now has a total of fourteen hundred students.
 
The last time EMU bought an off-campus building was in 2009 when it acquired Fletcher Elementary School.
