A new "medicinal garden" just opened at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor to showcase the connection between plants and medicine.
Bob Grese, thedirector of the Garden and Nichols Arboretum says the plants are arranged by system of the body and what diseases they are used to treat. Some of the plants in the garden are used in alternative treatments, while other plants are used in drugs that are common in the medical trade.
The garden is open to the public every day of the week., 10am-8pm
