In the October edition of 89.1 WEMU's '1st Friday Focus on the Environment, we spoke with Yousef Rabhi about a variety of topics. The Washtenaw County Commissioner wants to take his experience to Lansing and take over the seat currently held by term-limited Democratic state representative Jeff Irwin,  Jeff Irwin.

From a desire to reduce Michigan's dependence on fossil fuels, to efforts to remove a controversial pipeline from under the Straits of Macinac to the politics that pose a challenge to effective legislation.
