This week on Art and Soul, I'm joined by the director of community engagement for the Ann Arbor Art Center, Omari Rush, and John Kotarski, the Chair of the City of Ann Arbor Public Art Commission.

We talk about the new and improved art commission, which works for the city council to put art in public places across Ann Arbor.

One of the projects they're currently working on is the Stadium Boulevard Retaining Wall.  They're down to three finalists and are encouraging people to vote for their favorite.

Kotarski says they're also responsible for the Manchester Water Tower, which is the tallest public art project in the state, and the Kingsley Rain Garden "pocket park"in Ann Arbor on Kingsley and First.

Omari and I also discuss the latest Art Off The Wall Exhibition conducted by the Ann Arbor Art Center.
