This week on Art & Soul: The Visual Arts, the director of community engagement for the Ann Arbor Art Center Omari Rush and I talk about a number of events going on in our community.
There is a new event called "YpsiGLOW," taking place in Ypsilanti later this month.
That's where the conversation begins...
YpsiGLOW will be a fun, festive, fall event sort of like a glowing block party and very inclusive of the community.

We also talk about Ypsi 24, a local film-making competition, as well as the Ann Arbor Art Center's 94th annual "All Media Exhibition," which runs through November 12th. There were over 600 submissions, and only 49 got selected for display.

Omari also talks about the 3 finalists for the Stadium Boulevard Art Project. He says lots of submissions for the project demonstrate the depth of the creativity in our community. The public will get a chance to pick the winner.
