A growing number of University of Michigan students are voicing their concerns over the possibility of white supremacist Richard Spencerspeaking at their school.

Multiple student groups have organizeda week of events aimed at stopping Spencer from coming to the university.

Included among them is a "Speak Out" demonstration on the University Diaghappening Tuesday at 6 p.m. and a "Student Strike" on Thursday.

The University of Michigan has not yet made a decision on whether Spencer will be allowed to speak on campus.

By law, it is not allowed to refuse a speaker based solely on the presumed content of their speech, but it can refuse one if the university determines it can't ensure safety of the public.
