A Town Hall on "Medicare For All" will be held in Ypsilanti on Saturday. The panel discussion and audience Q & A will feature Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, State Representatives Yousef Rabhi and Ronnie Peterson, and State Senator Jeff Irwin. Irwin joined WEMU's David Fair to discuss how the need for, and the barriers to, a path forward to national health care coverage.

In February of this year, Reps. Debbie Dingelland Pramila Jayapal introduced the Medicare for All Act of 2019 with more than 100 co-sponsors. The bill would improve and expand access to medicare so that every American has access to quality, affordable healthcare.
