On the pavement at the intersection of Main and Liberty in downtown Ann Arbor, there is a very large mural as part of an initiative by the Ann Arbor DDA and The Arts Alliance.  Lisa Barry and Omari Rush talk to one of the artists who created the mural, Kellie Bambach, who explains that, during this time of uncertainty, they wanted to bring a little bit of "nature" and color to the urban space and remind everyone that we can be #AllTogetherOutside.

Artist Kellie Bambach shares that she and her creative partner, Adrienne Pickett, believe public art reshapes the way we experience cities.  They embraced the idea of togetherness and inclusivity by bringing nature and joy to downtown where we're #AllTogetherOutside for this moment in time.

Just as nature represents renewal, they hope this revitalized approach to this small segment of town brings all colors, race, age, and economic status to the area with a sense of belonging and togetherness and instills a sense of hope in the community.  With what has been a dark year, they bring light to it with fun graphics and bold colors.

The 3000-square foot mural was created on the pavement at the busy Ann Arbor intersection to be experienced by motorists and pedestrians and impacted by the elements.
