Epidemiologist and Eastern Michigan University Associate Professor of Health Administration Dr. Beverly Mihalko says the situation concerning Coronavirus, or COVID-19, remains fluid and is changing day to day.

She advises everyone to follow the guidelines from the county, the state to national healthcare agencies.  Dr. Mihalko says "hand hygiene is the number one recommendation to combat the virus" and suggests people wash  their hands as frequently as possible with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
She says the Coronavirus has symptoms similar to a cold but with two big symptoms to note.  Those are fever and chest tightness or shortness of breath.  She adds the incubation range is 5.1 days up to 11 days from the time you're exposed until the time you develop symptoms.
