Song says, from working in Ann Arbor schools, she knew people were struggling and says now it's time to do something about it.  She says she thinks there is a sense of optimism and positivity about the new members coming in to the Ann Arbor city council and says they are really eager to get things done.

Song says she wants to help Ann Arbor beat the reputation of being the 8th most economically segregated community in the country and would like to get more Ann Arbor residents involved in the political process.
