A Washtenaw County deputy sheriff should not face charges in a “use of force incident” in Ypsilanti Township from last May.

A video of the incident shows the woman deputies were trying to subdue was resisting arrest and biting the deputy... who still remains off the job following the incident.
Sheriff Clayton says they are still conducting an internal investigation of the deputy involved but said he vowed to abide by the Attorney General’s decision either way it went.
He says while "dismayed and disturbed by the incident," he expects some opposition in the community by people not satisfied by the decision.
