Presidential Hopeful Bernie Sanders To Visit Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti Today

Bernie Sanders brings his bid for the presidency to Ypsilanti today. 

  ve In Rally at Eastern Michigan University."  The event begins at 2:30 this afternoon at the EMU Convocation Center and is free and open to the public.  Doors open at 12:30 pm. The Sanders campaign is asking those planning to attend to RSVP.  You can do so here.

As you might expect with an event of this magnitude, there will be strict security measures in place.  Attendees are asked to limit what they bring into the arena to small items, like cell phones and car keys.  Signs and banners on sticks will not be allowed to pass through security. 

Sanders is seeking the Democratic nomination along with Former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
