Local High School Team Featured On HBO While Collecting Final Financing For Trip To China

A local high school team is getting national attention, but it's not for sports.  The Ypsilanti Community School district Grizzly Robotics team is being featured on HBO'S "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel."

Heister and Edmonds talk about the many benefits of the district's robotics program open to both boys and girls.  The team has won numerous awards and is planning to go to China next month to help raise robotic and engineering awareness and work with 24 schools who are planning to have a team next year.
