As we get closer to Thanksgiving, Eastern Michigan University needs your help to feed students in need.
EMU has a student pantry called Swoop's, named after its mascot. And they need to stock up before Thanksgiving to make sure students who need food for the holiday have it.
The pantry accepts all types of non-perishable items such as canned food and ready to eat meals. Breakfast items and peanut butter and jelly are also always needed.
Current needs:
- Juice Boxes
- Frozen Meat
- Produce such as bananas, oranges and apples
- Condiments such as mayo, ketchup and mustard
- Pasta
- Pasta Sauce
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly
- Baby Food
- Cheese
- Conditioner
- Tooth paste and tooth brushes
- Personal hygiene items
The pantry is encouraging Thanksgiving donations to be made this week before the holiday.
