Nancy Merdzinskiis with the Ann Arbor Area Board of Realtors. The local real estate market has been more stable than other areas in the country, according to Merdzinski.

She says,

“We’re fortunate to have the medical community, the higher education community, and the tech community [here]. It helps to insulate us from the challenges of the [real estate] industry.”

The average home sale price in the Ann Arbor area was just over $264,000 in December.
