Detroit Sound Conservancy (DSC) presents a tribute to the Graystone Jazz Museum and the Graystone Ballroom with an evening of sonic resistance storytelling and music. World renowned drummer and composer Ali Jackson will lead a tribute band featuring compositions rearranged from the New Graystone Orchestra's repertoire. The evening will also feature storytelling informed by the history preserved at the Graystone International Jazz Museum. On Thursday, November 9, 2023, doors & display open at 5:00 pm and a presentation and performance follow at 7:00 pm. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available.
