Premium Rat is the stage name of Mer Rey (they/she), an Ypsilanti based queer and nonbinary singer-songwriter. Mer writes emotionally rich, dynamic songs with a unique perspective on the world and interpersonal relationships. Often wrapped in the sounds of distortion and electric guitars, this acoustic set will allow the songwriting to shine in its simplest form.
