MAMA’s Coffeehouse host and coordinator JIM BIZER has made music his career and calling ever since he dropped out of music school decades ago. After years of making music in duos, trios and various Michigan bands, he’s releasing his first solo recordings in a very long time. Some songs are brand-new, some are longtime concert favorites he’s finally recorded. Poignant and quirky, hilarious and heartfelt, thoughtful and absurd – somehow, all at once. This will be a largely solo performance but there will be a few musical guests along too.
