Patriot Marker Dedication Ceremony
The local DAR and SAR Chapters are doing a Patriot Marker Dedication Ceremony to honor two Patriots from the American Revolutionary War. Patriots, Archibald Armstrong and Samuel Waldron moved to Michigan after the war ended and purchased land in Washtenaw County. Descendants from Archibald Armstrong will be present. This is a patriotic event with singers, taps, bagpipe, military presence, dignitaries and of course, local history buffs. Please come share in the recognition of these Patriots.
