#OTGYpsi: Ypsilanti Downtown Development Authority revamps its website with business profiles, job openings and more
The Ypsilanti Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has launched an updated website. The redesigned site, launched at the end of July, allows businesses and nonprofits to create and manage their own profiles, improving their visibility in online searches while contributing directly to a community calendar, job board, and volunteer listings. Lee Van Roth talked about the DDA's new online endeavor with the authority's coordinator, Danya Youssef-Agha.

As we mark Memorial Day, and all of the men and women lost in service to our country, we also want take note of the veterans who have returned home to our community. Many need medical, physical and emotional help and support. That’s where Fisher House in Ann Arbor comes in. It provided free lodging and support services to veterans and their families. Governor Gretchen Whitmer has released her MI Healthy Climate Plan. It is considered by many to be the boldest climate action proposal in state history. On this month’s edition of WEMU’s "1st Friday Focus on the Environment," we look at key components of the plan and its potential impact on under-served communities and the overall health of our air, land, and water.
