  • Ann Arbor continues moving towards its goal of achieving carbon neutrality by the year 2030, and a new and innovative project in one of the city's neighborhoods is expected to help. A federal grant will allow for the study of a community-scale geothermal heating and cooling system in the Bryant neighborhood. If implemented, it is expected to cut energy costs and reduce environmental impacts.   • Ann Arbor officials says some of the trees in the city are dying, and they attribute it to leaks in the DTE Energy natural gas infrastructure. The utility says it is not the problem.
