Pontiac, MI – This past weekend, the Pontiac Silverdome hosted its last scheduled public event. The dome's famous roof is to be deflated next month in preparation for future redevelopment.
While the Silverdome was originally built to be the home of the Detroit Lions, a wide variety of other events have been staged there over the years. In fact, the Silverdome is the birthplace of the "Monster Jam", which also served as its final public event.
