Ann Arbor area residents have a chance to review and comment on six possible routes for a high capacity public transit connector service. The routes linking the Plymouth Road U-S 23 area to the University of Michigan, downtown Ann Arbor, and Briarwood Mall were shared at recent public workshops.
Jeremy Windsor is a transportation planner with U-R-S. Windsor says at the workshop and in the weeks to come they want to hear from the public if they are heading in the right direction on the proposed routes. He says flexibility remains on the routes and portions of different options could be put together. Windsor says starting next month they will do ridership modeling and get a better idea on the costs and benefits of each possibility.
