Ann Arbor Area Transportation Had A Big Year in 2013, More Growth Expected in 2014
With two new member communities and a name change, 2013 was a big year for the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority.
The transit organization however may continue to see changes during 2014. AAATA CEO Michael Ford says The Ride is seeing strong use of existing services but there is still demand for more transit options.
Ford says they will be presenting the AAATA Board with lots of information about possible growth and funding options to provide additional service. He says they also hope to be in the new Blake Transit Center by the end of the month.
