Ann Arbor Officials Use Social Media to Highlight Pothole Concerns

City of Ann Arbor

A simple post on Facebook and Twitter highlights how big a problem Ann Arbor and the rest of the area are facing in dealing with potholes this winter.

Ann Arbor tries to fill potholes within 24 business hours of notification, but officials admit this year they are struggling in meeting that goal.

You can report a pothole to Ann Arbor by calling 99-HOLES.

Like many, I first came to this area when I started school at the University of Michigan, then fell in love with the community and haven’t left. After graduating from U of M in the mid 1990’s I interned at WDET for several years, while also working a variety of jobs in Ann Arbor. Then in 1999 I joined the WEMU news team.
