Ann Arbor Fire Stations Closing For Renovations

a2gov.org

Three of Ann Arbor's fire stations will be temporarily closed over the next two months.

Stations 3, 4 and 5 will each be closed for renovations, although only one will be closed at a time.

Assistant Fire Chief Ellen Taylor says each station should only be closed for a few days.

"Station 3 and station 4 are just having some bathroom renovations done," Taylor says. "Station 5 is actually a building that's owned by the University of Michigan, and they are just going to be doing some door work.  It's the outside doors in the back of the building."

Taylor says crews displaced by the closures will operate out of the nearest station until the work is finished.
