The press preview for the North American International Auto Show kicked-off today in Detroit.

Over a dozen cars and trucks were revealed at the show, including the redesigned Honda Ridgeline and the all-electric Chevy EV Bolt.

Congresswoman Debbie Dingell from the 12th district says autonomous vehicles could be tested in Washtenaw County in the future.  She is working with the government, automakers and Google to convert the former Willow Run plant in Ypsilanti Township into a testing site for autonomous vehicles.

The Honda Civic was named the Car of the Year at the North American International Auto Show today and  the Volvo XC90 received the Truck of the Year award.  The show will be open to the public from January 16th - 24th.
