Eastern Michigan University's College of Business is hosting its annual Search Marketing Workshop on Friday and you're invited.
The theme is "Fusion of Everything." They will discuss all types of digital platforms from the internet, mobile devices and even home entertainment systems and how they are impacting our lives.
The professional networking and training workshop is an effort to answer a few tricky questions that come up every day:
Digital has moved from being a purely web phenomenon to being a web, mobile, car, home entertainment system, etc. phenomenon. Still at the heart of this fusion we find our old digital friends, search and social media. How has this fusion of everything transformed the digital landscape? What has stayed the same? What strategies can we use to succeed in this rapidly transforming landscape?
EMU professor and organizer of the event, Bud Gibson, says the digital world is a strong tool for marketing.
The event runs from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM Friday at the EMU Student Center. You'll find some interesting tidbits from the workshop by following the #emudigital hashtag on Twitter.
