Christians across Washtenaw County will celebrate Easter Sunday this weekend in a new way.  WEMU’s Jorge Avellan reports.

The coronavirus pandemic is forcing congregations, like the Journey of Faith Christian Church in Ann Arbor, to use Facebook live to stream their Easter Sunday service.  Pastor Alex McCauslin says, now more than ever, it’s important to stay connected with your community to get through the pandemic.

"I will be live from my house, and the musicians will be at church and other people will be at their home leading worship all at the same time"

Pastor McCauslin says she’s been in contact with other local churches and they’re also using Facebook, Zoom, or Go to Meeting to provide Easter Sunday services.
