Weber's Decides Against Hosting An Outdoor, Drive-In Theater Project

Weber's

Weber’s in Ann Arbor will not move forward with plans on offering a drive-in theater this summer.

TheCity of Ann Arbor did approve a permit to use Weber’s parking lot for a drive-in theater, but Weber’s management changed their minds after they reopened their restaurant last week.  It had been closed since March because of COVID-19.  Michael Weber is vice president of the business and says it’s better for business to focus on the restaurant.

Michael Weber: We’ve been at 50% capacity but have had enough business to keep us busy.

The re-opening of the restaurant allowed Weber’s to bring back about 100 of their employees who were temporarily out-of-work because of COVID-19.
