Weber's Offering New Services To Our Community

Weber's Restaurant and Hotel is one of many local businesses that have had to change the way they operate during the coronavirus pandemic.  WEMU's Jorge Avellan tells us how they've adapted to the new normal.

Need some fresh produce or steaks?  Weber's is offering a new service to help you cross items off your grocery list.  You can place orders through their website and pick them up at curbside, safely.  Brian Weber tells us how this works.

"We'll deliver the groceries to the trunk. Or if they don't have a working trunk, we will set it down on a table, leave and then they can pick the groceries and put it in the trunk themselves"

Weber says this new operation helps keep about ten of their 200 employees working during the closure.  They continue to take carryout orders from the restaurant through their website.
