Dick Jacques

In December of 1965, WEMU first took to the airwaves, and it was quite a different station than the one you know today. The origin story is fascinating, and as we celebrate WEMU’s 60th anniversary, we’re going to take you back to the beginning. Dick Jacques helped start WEMU six decades ago and served as station manager for about nine years helping create the foundation for the station we are today. He reflects on the station's history with WEMU's David Fair.
