Michigan is getting battleground state attention from the presidential campaigns. Republican nominee Donald Trump pays a visit to Macomb County.  Former President Bill Clinton toured the state to support Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

The presidential candidates’ attention to Michigan continued on Monday.  Former president Bill Clinton made campaign stops in Flint and Saginaw on behalf of his wife and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

Donald Trump is back in Michigan today.  The Republican presidential nominee is holding a rally at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.  


Former President Bill Clinton was a crowd-stopper as he marched in Detroit’s Labor Day Parade on behalf of his wife’s presidential campaign.  The parade was often delayed as Clinton was stopped for selfies.

Bill Clinton stumps for Michigan Democratic ticket in Flint

Another Clinton was in Michigan on Wednesday urging Democrats to show up to the polls on November 4th. Last week it was former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. This time it was her husband rallying Democrats to try to get out the vote.

"We don't win these races and we get this gridlock because too many people don't vote at midterm," said former President Bill Clinton in front of a crowd of hundreds of Democrats.

Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to headline a fundraiser for Michigan Democrats next month.  The Michigan Democratic Party announced Sunday that Clinton will speak at the annual Jefferson-Jackson dinner, which is scheduled for April 26 at Cobo Center in Detroit.
