YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) - New tips are being sought in the case of a 23-year-old Eastern Michigan University student whose December bathtub drowning was ruled a homicide.

WXYZ-TV reports the Crime Stoppers organization on Thursday is renewing the call for information about the death of Julia Niswender. Reward money is being offered, including at least $5,000 from Crime Stoppers.

Niswender was a Monroe native and an undergraduate. Her body was found Dec. 11 at an apartment across the street from the campus police station. Family members have said that the apartment door was locked and that there were no signs of struggle, but that the apartment was in disarray.

Ypsilanti police said in August that they had exhausted most viable leads in the case. The investigation continues.
