From the Listen and Learn tour, to a budget strategy that focused on increasing enrollment new superintendent Jeanice Swift is getting high marks from the Ann Arbor School Board.
After Wednesday's evaluation board members say they couldn't be more pleased with her leadership.
President Deb Mexicotte credits Swift with helping the district face a number of challenges. This includes boosting enrollment for the fall, addressing community concerns, and creating a balanced budget that didn't include further cuts in the classroom.
Mexicotte says Swift has created a culture of yes in the district and turns to innovation to solve problems.
