If you want to vote in the Michigan primary presidential election in March, you have until February 8th to register.

Currently, 266,000 people in Washtenaw County are registered to vote.  That number is expected to increase to about 280,000 for the presidential election.

Ed Golembiewski, director of elections for Washtenaw County, says you can register with your township or city clerk, at the county's clerk's office, any Michigan Secretary of State office or mail-in your registration.

Also, if your home address has changed, you need to update the information in case your precinct changes.
