Creative Commons

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is advising residents to take extra caution on the roads tonight and tomorrow.

Officials expect six to eight inches of snowfall by Thursday afternoon.

Washtenaw County Sheriff Spokesperson Derrick Jackson says, "We’re asking folks to slow down, leave early if you have to venture out, take your time to get there.  If you can stay in, please stay in.”

The travel warning remains in effect until 11 AM Thursday.
