An EMU students group will host a community conversation with Ypsilanti Mayor Amanda Edmonds on Tuesday.
Steven Kwasny is a member of Eastern’s student Democrats and an organizer of the event.
“Our students body, they don’t necessarily have all the free time in the world to talk to an elected official. So us at the EMU college democrats, we want to make sure that students have every opportunity to meet as many elected officials as possible.”
Kwasny says the event is open to all Ypsilanti residents. It begins at 7 PM Tuesday at the Pray-Harold building on EMU’s campus.
