Ann Arbor Public Schools is looking for host families to take in 20 Chinese students later this year.

It's part of the district's Chinese Global Education Partnership.  JennaBacolor, who is the executive director for community services, says anyone who can provide a safe and supportive environment qualifies to host.

"People who are interested in developing a positive relationship with an international student, introducing American culture and values, and providing ongoing support to students through their academic year."

The district will host a meeting this evening at Skyline High School for those interested in getting information on becoming a host family.
