The Washtenaw Coordinated Funders has awarded $4.5 million in human services funding to nonprofits in our county.

67 programs across 38 agencies will split the funding during the next two fiscal years.

The WashtenawCounty Office of Community and Economic Developmenthelped with the selection process.  Human services manager AndreaPlevek says funding was awarded in four priority areas.

"Aging; housing and homelessness; safety, health, and nutrition; and a cradle-to-career network, which focuses on early childhood and school-aged youth."
